Charlotte, NC based Waterstone Capital Advisors is pleased to announce that Ron Dove has joined the company as a Commercial Asset Manager in the company’s new Special Servicing business reporting to Managing Director Dennis McCloskey. The primary focus of the new Special Servicing business unit is to provide asset management and loan servicing expertise to distressed debt investors. Dove will be responsible for managing and liquidating a portfolio of REO assets from failed banks, with a goal of maximizing the recovery for investor clients. “We are excited about having someone with Ron’s finance and structuring expertise on our Special Servicing team.” says McCloskey.

Dove started his financial career in treasury management in 1980, and later became Treasurer at Bombardier Capital. In 1995 Dove became Vice President of Operations overseeing credit, sales, and legal at Bombardier Capital’s largest strategic business unit. Prior to joining Waterstone, Dove owned a consulting business focused on turnaround management.

Dove holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College.
